Sunday Number One (9/4/2022)
Spanish artist Adrian Torres created Deep Ellumphants.

For the first official post of our Month of Sundays project (here), we started at the corner of Exposition and Main, with the Deep Ellumphants on the west side of the Brake and Clutch Warehouse building.

Around the southwest corner of the same building we found the 240,000 Miles Mural (2017).

Across Exposition on Main to the west is the Artistic Encounter tattoo shop, which has a mural on the north side of the building. You'd might miss this one if you weren't looking backward (not recommended while driving).

Artistic Encounter mural By Samo Gonzales. The AE in the hands is a nice touch.

A block south on the east side of Exposition is this 70's style mural on the Double-Wide Bar.

It's good to see bar murals that are in good shape! Double*Wide bar mural in Deep Ellum.

There are so many murals in Deep Ellum - it's going to be a challenge to just post an intersection at a time.

Thanks for looking!

P.S. (9/18/2022) - There's a 42 Murals work at the 7/Eleven across Exposition that we missed during our initial visit - look past the gas pumps and you will see this:

Long and bright mural at the 7/Eleven!
