The first thing we noticed this week was the crew was putting up new banners for the holidays!

This week for our Month of Sundays project we started on Elm at Malcolm X, looking west. This intersection boasts lots of color.

We covered the eastern part of the intersection, including "I Love You", in last week's post. Across Malcolm X to the west, hiding behind some trees, is "The Classic New York, 2020" below, by Sandro (SEN2) Figueroa (link) at the Bitter End.

You'll see a portrait of James Dean by Jerod Davies (@dtoxart) if you pass by the bar's patio on Elm.

The outdoor dining for Cafe Brazil across Elm is decorated nicely with murals by Frank Campagna (link). Across the street is the corner mural for Off the Cuff.

Walking further west on the south side of Elm we saw some interesting storefronts and more murals inside the entrances to a retail building under renovation. Check these two out - the image of the man and piano is titled "The Weight of Optimism" by Joe Iurato (link).

Around the corner, facing the intersection of Elm and Crowdus, we found this geometric beauty by @huy_see (link). Back in the corner of the parking lot are two other pieces. This was originally a single mural by Gabe McCool (@spillermccool) that was later partially covered by "Free VZLA" by Alejandra Camargo (link).

We're now at the intersection of Elm and Crowdus - and there are a ton more murals to see.
