Seventh Sunday

Most of the time the weather in Dallas is dry, especially this year. Sometimes, though, like this Sunday we'll get a cloudy rainy day - not the best for mural watching! With that in mind and in keeping with our Month of Sundays theme, here are pictures from earlier in the week of the murals on Elm on the block heading west from Walton.

First, on the north side of the street, is "Mario Brothers Day Off", 3 of 10 by @thehouseofpannek.

Look behind, across the parking lot, to see "Concord Collaboration".

Now walk again to the west, and you'll come to Pepe's and Mito's Mexican Cafe.

OK, I know, this is a neon picture. It is nice though, don't you agree?

Look around the corner of the building to see a Texas themed mural by @mariellGuzman for #thetasteofmytexas - there's a Texas flag further back, too.

Look in the window above, and you'll see a reflection of the mural across the parking lot - "Hope".

Just across the street at Bucky Moonshine's is one of the most photographed walls in Deep Ellum - wonder why? It's a Sunday morning hotspot with photographers and photographees, by Dusty Gilpin.
