Eleven Sundays on Elm!

We are about third of the way through our Month of Sundays project!
Last week we focused on the neighborhood around the intersection of Elm and Crowdus in Deep Ellum, with a nod to the wonderful traffic mural at the Green Door. This week, we're going to start there and move west down Elm.
Keep walking past the Green Door and you'll glimpse works lining a parking lot on the south side of Elm. First is "Deep Ellum Janus" by Dan Colcer,
with "Shockra" by @joeskilz52 and "The Winged Victory of Samothrace" by 1amthewalrus .
Tucked onto the back wall of the patio at the Elm Street Saloon nearby is a mosaic featuring Clint Eastwood by artist Steve Hunter.
Walk further and you'll see several murals lining a parking lot, including "JURNT, The cream has displayed these shadows, implying light." by an unknown artist featuring American Creamy by Jonathan Spradlin and a series of tributes to musicians by Frank Campagna (link).
Across the street at Electric Shuffle are these lovely walls by Maya Hayuk (link).
Across the street is an boy peeking round a candy store door by Joe Iurato (link). That's not really a candy shop, by the way. You'll see a little girl and a birdhouse entitled "Nina (One for the Birds)" on the walls of Deep Sushi across the alley. I really enjoy these.

and a sleeping Neptune by Jim Hastings @jhastings40.
As you retrace your steps to Elm, look up! You'll see this little guy by Joe Iurato climbing onto the roof of the candy shop that's not a candy shop.
Look across Elm, too, when you arrive there. You'll see a little guy above the overhead door, also by Joe Iurato.
Down Elm a little further at Good-Latimer on the wall of Louie Louie is "Deep Ellum TV" by Frank Campagna next to a black panther with silver tweets all around.
Across the street you'll see a brand new mural by Ron English titled "“Texas Tantrum Tots and Pals". (link1)
We've finished traveling from Exposition, on the eastern edge of Deep Ellum, west to Good-Latimer. Next time we will turn the corner and go east on Main.
